So, what separates those who succeed from those who fall short? It’s often a willingness to take charge of your own destiny … to make a concerted effort to become the entrepreneur of YOU.

Join us for this powerful program that will help you identify and cultivate entrepreneurial traits to drive your own success. Our guest speaker, Jasmine Crowe-Houston is an award-winning social entrepreneur, TED Speaker, and determined leader working to make the world a better place. In 2017, after years of feeding people experiencing homelessness from her own kitchen, Jasmine launched Goodr, a sustainable waste management company that leverages technology to combat hunger and reduce food waste. She has been featured on CNBC, Oprah Magazine, Forbes, Fast Co., New York Times, and named by Entrepreneur Magazine as one of the top 100 influential female founders.

Jasmine will share her personal story and help you unleash your entrepreneurial spirit and develop a plan to hone essential skills to foster success including:

Forming intentional goals – and developing a workable plan;
Harnessing your own ingenuity;
Believing in yourself and cultivating a network to support your growth;
Fostering a positive mindset;
Sharpening your persuasive communication skills;

Georgia Women in Lodging GiveBack. We need your support!
Georgia Women in Lodging is partnering with our friends at The Goodr Foundation to host a Sock Drive. Please bring a donation of children's socks (toddler to 18 years old) with you to the December GWIL meeting. These socks will be distributed by the Goodr team to children in underserved neighborhoods in Atlanta through their Neighborhood Eats program where they provide resources to local neighborhoods each Saturday. Staff leaders from Goodr will be on hand to accept donations and share more about their great work!

GWIL Members: $40 per person / $400 - table of 10 *
Non-GWIL Members: $60 per person / $600 - table of 10

Parking
Self Parking is $8.

Please register by November 25.
All registrations must be paid in advance. Refunds are not available for no-shows. However, should your schedule change, substitutions are always welcome. Cancellations not accepted after November 11.
